Emily + Michio
I first met Emily and Michio when we worked in Montana for the year and I was booking clients for mini family sessions. When Emily saw my facebook correspondence, she was super excited to share with her partner the good news that they found a wedding photographer at such short notice. After a lengthy phone call describing my packages and setting up a complimentary engagement photoshoot to ensure that our wedding photography vision aligns - we went straight to business to coming up with a photo timeline for her and Michio's big day at the Deer Park Chalet at Bridger Bowl Ski Area.
A Quick Guide to Booking My Photography Services
Mini and family sessions are booked directly through the online portal: simply select your date, enter your details, sign the contract, and submit payment. Weddings and special events are customized. Start by submitting an inquiry with your event date, location, and estimated hours of coverage. I’ll follow up to confirm coverage, travel fees, and any add-ons, then send a proposal with contract and invoice. Your date is secured once the non-refundable deposit (30% of the total invoice) and signed agreement are received. After booking, you’ll receive a planning questionnaire and we’ll begin building your photography timeline to coordinate with your planner and venue. A complimentary engagement session can be scheduled in advance so you can meet me, get comfortable in front of the camera, and use the images for invitation suite or your wedding website. We’ll stay in touch leading up to the event to finalize details, requests, and payment plans before the wedding day.
Montana's Diverse Climates
Montana is gorgeous! Another truer statement is that, you will most definitely see brutal winters more often than summer weather. This Montana wedding was set at the end of July, before the true fall weather showed up allowing for lush green meadows at Bridger Bowl Ski Area with mountainous backdrops along beautiful full pine trees. We did the engagement session at the brink of winter (BRRRRR!), a striking contrast to their summer wedding day. Many photographers like to keep their clients projects within familiar landscapes, but I welcomed the opportunity to adapt and test my gear while keeping the love story imagery.

Deer Park Chalet
This ski lodge is used as pit stop at the top of the mountains during the winters, but in the summers it turns into a quaint rustic venue for work gatherings, baby showers, birthdays and even weddings.
